Erik Knol earned his master in Technology & Policy (1998 - cum laude) at Eindhoven University of Technology - the Netherlands. He also holds a bachelor in Electrical Engineering. Besides his professional research period (topic: innovation and small and medium-sized enterprises), he worked as a business consultant for several years. He constructed business plans and supported organizations with strategic and operational aspects of information technology based initiatives (e.g. retail, health, industry, transport). Erik Knol participates in the steering committee of the regional ICT platform 071-ICT. Erik Knol presents his findings and writes papers & reports.
