September 2008 the project ENERCITIES has started. The project develops and rolls out a serious game focussing on energy awareness among youngsters. The project is co-funded by the European Commission (IEE 2007). The project, related funding request and consortium construction are all initiated by Qeam. More information.

For a business partner Erik Knol joined an Official Dutch Trade Mission to Morocco. One of the interest areas is the development of renewable energy projects in Morocco. Especially, wind energy projects.

Erik Knol has have taken the initiative to construct a consortium and proposal "entrepreneurship and energy innovations" for a European Commission (IEE 2008) grant. Consortium partners are several universities and business and innovation specialists (BG, NL, DK, IT, PT, SI, UK). The proposal is evaluated positively; the negotiations are started!
